Saved progress and security

Your progress is saved locally on this device so you can come back later. For your security, sensitive fields — SSN, EIN, bank routing and account numbers, and dates of birth — are never stored. If you close the browser and come back, you will need to re-enter those fields. Nothing is sent to Lubao until you click Submit.

Most businesses use the same address for billing as the business location. If yours is different, let us know.

Pricing Program

Single screen · ~2 minutes

Choose your pricing program

Based on the direction you picked earlier, here's what fits. You can switch programs later without replacing your equipment.

Pricing-program descriptions are for general comparison only. Availability, pricing, surcharge eligibility, dual-pricing eligibility, debit/prepaid handling, signage, receipt language, equipment compatibility, funding, and final account terms are subject to underwriting, card-brand rules, state law, Payroc/service-provider approval, and applicable agreements.

Program changes may be available. In many cases, pricing-program changes can be reviewed without replacing equipment because the program is generally account-level rather than hardware-level. Changes remain subject to eligibility, approval, compatibility, and applicable agreements.

Payment Tools

Where will you accept most payments?

Pick the option that best describes how your business usually takes payments. This helps us narrow the equipment and setup choices on the next screens.

On the go?Choose Mobile Payments.
Need inventory, staff, or order management?Choose POS.
Online, invoice, keyed, or pay-by-link?Choose Gateway / Virtual Terminal.

Back to List

Here are the terminals you can choose from.

Based on your pricing program and payment options. Pick one to continue — we'll configure and ship it once your application is approved.

Not sure which terminal to choose? Use the fit labels on each device. Most simple countertop setups should start with a recommended countertop terminal; mobile or line-busting setups should start with a handheld option.

Terminal images shown are placeholders. Actual hardware will match model specs.

Back to List

Is this going to be a reprogram or standard?

A standard setup means we ship you new Clover hardware. A reprogram means you already own Clover hardware and want to switch processors to Payroc.

Equipment Setup

Single screen · ~3 minutes

Let's get your terminal set up.

Basics

Eastern Time. The terminal will batch and settle transactions at this time each day.

Connectivity

How does your terminal connect to the internet?

Tips

Servers

Enabling servers lets each employee log in with their own ID so tips and sales are tracked per server.

Receipt Footer

Optional text printed at the bottom of every receipt.

Up to 120 characters. Leave blank for no footer.

Passwords

Require a manager password for these actions. Recommended if multiple staff have access to the terminal.

Acquisition

How would you like to acquire your terminal? No payment is collected now — we'll set up billing after your application is approved.

Pricing

Single screen · ~2 minutes

Let's set your pricing.

Three settings below determine how your ConsumerChoice program is configured. The example on the right updates as you make changes so you can see exactly what it looks like in practice.

Monthly Subscription

Your ConsumerChoice platform fee. Billed monthly and pulled from your deposit account.

$39.99 /month

Authorized Rate

The percentage your cardholders pay on top of the cash price for card transactions. This is what covers the cost of card processing.

Price Entry Method

How should prices be entered into your terminal? If your existing menus, labels, or product prices already reflect what a cash customer would pay, pick Cash Price Entry (most common). If you'd rather enter the card-paying price and have the system discount it for cash payments, pick Card Price Entry.

Document Uploads

Single screen · ~3 minutes

Let's gather your supporting documents.

Underwriting uses these to verify your business. Most applications need a voided check and a business license — photos are fine, no scanner required. Accepts JPG, PNG, HEIC, and PDF up to 10 MB each.

Complete this section last and in one sitting.

Uploads don't save between browser sessions — if you close this tab or refresh the page after uploading, you'll need to re-upload. Your text answers from other sections are saved automatically.

Voided Business Check

Required

A voided check matching the deposit account from Section 3. Write "VOID" across the front and take a photo or scan.

Storefront Photo

Optional · Recommended

A photo of your business from the outside. Include your sign if you have one. Helps underwriting approve you faster.

Interior Photo

Optional · Recommended

A photo of your register, counter, or where card transactions happen. Confirms your business is operating.

Business License or Permit

Required

Your state or local business license. A photo of the license on your wall works fine. If your business truly doesn't require a license, check the box below.

Additional Documents

Optional

Anything else we should know? Previous processing statements, a memo about your business, lease agreement, etc.
